Krozair

Krozair is a lost PLATO game from 1980 written by Seth J. Sweetser. It is a first-person, multiplayer RPG similar to PLATO’s Moria.

The title comes from Krozair Cycle Series by Alan Burt Akers which starting being published in the 70s.

A paper from 1980s mention Krozair as an example of a game that had a player attributes and it sounds you also chose your character species.

In the PLATO game Krozair, for example, the user selects a character profile that includes a group of traits and a designation for, or numeric value to describe the relative strength of, that trait. Traits include physical characteristics like sex, strength, intelligence, and species, as well as personality traits like charisma.

The other notable mention of Krozair is from Tom Loughry, the developer of Treasure of Tarmin, who references it as an inspiration in this rather long podcast.
